The Work Placement Scheme

The transport planning work placement scheme is an initiative to provide you with the opportunity to experience this exciting profession. It is being promoted by the Transport Planning Society following a successful pilot scheme in 2003.

A range of 'accredited' organisations are offering short placements to undergraduates to introduce them to transport planning. The placements typically eight to twelve weeks during the summer vacation, will allow students to gain valuable work experience and probably get paid for it too! The placement will start in July 2008.

The deadline for applications has now passed. Details of the 2009 scheme will be available from November 2008.
